About Me
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over nine years of experience working at the intersection of mental health and real-world systems, including the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, community mental health and private practice.
I work with individuals who are used to holding everything together on the outside while navigating PTSD, burnout, grief and chronic stress on the inside. My approach is direct and grounded—we identify what’s actually happening so we can develop a clear, workable path forward.
At the Department of Veteran’s Affairs, I worked with severely mentally ill and unhoused veterans in settings where clinical decisions were directly tied high-stakes outcomes that affected their quality of life such as Social Security Disability benefits, Veteran’s Service Connected Disability benefits, housing and healthcare eligibility. That invaluable experience required precise assessment, clear documentation and the ability to connect diagnoses and symptoms directly to functional impairment. This led to a strong understanding of how systems interpret clinical information—experience I now apply to mental health evaluations and documentation for leave, workplace accommodations and disability-related needs.
I’ve also held clinical leadership roles overseeing documentation standards, regulatory compliance and treatment quality. I bring that same level of structure and accountability into every evaluation and letter I write.
Clients often describe me as direct, steady and not afraid to bring in well-timed humor when things get heavy. We’ll work through what you’ve been carrying—so you can finally set it down.
